Come See ‘The Stream’ From Oct. 25 – 31st and Support BPA!

28 October 2013 ~ 0 Comments

Two summers ago, Big Picture Alliance Executive Director Teri Yago Ryan with some help from our friends at the Greater Philadelphia Film Office arranged for a dedicated group of BPA students to help work on a new family-feature film production shot here in Philadelphia. Chicago-based FreshFilms Producer/Director team Kelli and Estlin Fiegley and Production supervisor Devon Saber were blown away by the expertise of BPA students and even asked them to return to the set for a second week!  In Devon’s words “they made our lives easier – what are you teaching them?”  Our answer?  Everything script-to-screen!  BPA students are a select few in the U.S.  to have their own names on the end credits of a feature film AND their own credit on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB).  That film, entitled The Stream, is now out in select cities; one of them being Philadelphia! Proceeds from this film also support Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

We here at BPA invite you to go see The Stream at the United Artists Riverview Plaza Stadium theatre from 10/25 to 10/31 where every ticket purchased has the possibility to benefit Big Picture Alliance!  How, you may ask? Well if you take a picture of your ticket stub and send it to the BPA facebook, the BPA twitter, or info@bigpicturealliance.org then BPA receives 20% of the price of your ticket (as long as BPA sells more tickets than competing organizations for a particular day/showing).

And just so you know we’re not leaving you out in the cold: if you take a picture of your ticket stub and send it in you’re automatically entered into the running for a FREE poster of The Stream! (pictured below)

Go see The Stream (or buy a block of tickets to support our youth student filmmakers to go for free!) and BPA will get 20% of the ticket sales provided we sell THE MOST tickets for that day or showtime!

This is for paid ticket sales from 10/25 through 10/31 ONLY.
And ONLY for ticket sold for UA Riverview Plaza Stadium theatre!

And remember, sending in a picture of your ticket stub will put your name in a raffle for a FREE poster for The Stream

Total ticket sales to be verified by Regal Cinemas.

BPA Must receive a picture of your ORIGINAL ticket stub by 11/5 to qualify!
Organization must have a minimum 25 ticket stubs sold.

Thanks for supporting BPA young filmmakers as they hit a landmark FIRST in BPA history! Feature film credits while still in high school!!
